Historical locations are the perfect choice for some couples. One such location in Nashville is the Hermitage. The Hermitage was the home of President Andrew Jackson. Weddings don’t take place inside the home but there is a log cabin by a spring down a few hundred yards behind the mansion. Also there is Rachel’s Chapel which is a small church build by Jackson for his wife. One word of warning. There is no air conditioner!
Nashville wedding chapels are also abundant around town. Around the Opryland area is the Bridal Path Wedding Chapel. Located off Briley Parkway, it looks just like a little white church. Owen’s Chapel is an actual church found down south of the city in Brentwwood, Tennessee. It is an old and beautiful church chapel surrounded by farms and affluent homes.
Juliet’s Chapel is found with a short drive out east of Nashville in Mt. Juliet. It was a church years ago and has been turned into a wedding chapel. Finally, a few miles east is the Montgomery Bell State park chapel. This was the home of the Presbyterian Cumberland Church.
Want to get married amidst the action of downtown? There are a number of good choices for a downtown Nashville wedding location. Union Station was an actual train station many years ago and now is a beautiful hotel. Right next door is the Frist Art Center which is used for weddings and receptions.
