Ji Hwang Ruby Earrings From Gemvara

Shopping for jewelry is one of my main passions in life and I’m always on the look out for new retailers and new designers who can offer pieces that I can add to my collection. Recently I came across a business called Gemvara who sell some nice unusual items for those of you who have a similar addiction.
Gemvara are not a discount outlet who sells exactly the same things that are for sale in every other online store, they offer the finest gems and jewelry, specializing in very unique designs. Some of their pieces come from jewelers who are very well known, but they also have some from talented individuals who you will never have heard of. One of them who I like in particular is known as Ji Hwang, some one who was trained in their art in New York City at the exceptional Parsons School of Design.
Ji Hwang has a skill for making some lovely silver ruby earrings which are a delight and I just couldn’t help picking a pair up to add to my jewelry box. From looking at her designs its obvious that she takes her influences from nature. Things such as flowers, teardrops, flowers and trees are translated 
into beautiful forms which imitate that simplicity that makes calligraphy so special.
What is especially good about the pieces from Ji Hwang in my view if the price. If you are shopping for regular mass produced ruby jewelry then you might expect to pay somewhere in the region of $400. Its surprising then that you can get these unique designer products starting at the $200 mark, a true bargain in an over price world. Its true that the more ornate pieces will set you back a bit more, but to find something this special at under $500 is a real treat for any fine jewelry lover.
Ruby rings also give a luxurious look to a lady’s hand.
