5 Common Areas for Liposuction Surgery
>
When it comes to liposuction surgery, one of the more often asked questions focuses on which body parts are usually operated on. To answer this question, this section is going to describe the five most common body parts that liposuction is performed on. By far, the most common body part liposuction is performed on is the stomach. We believe this is because of two reasons.
First, after a woman gives birth, it is very difficult for women to lose the fat around the stomach. Additionally, most men seem to put on weight around the stomachs before anywhere else on their body (as an example, think of the stereotypical fat man with skinny legs).
Next, many women will often have liposuction performed on the outer thighs, as this is often a problem area for them. Women tend to accumulate so much fat in these areas, that the condition is actually nicknamed ‘saddlebags’.
The third area that liposuction is often performed on is the arms of women. For some reason, this is really a trouble spot for women. Regardless of how much arm strength training they do, they are usually unable to eliminate the fat in this area.
The fourth area where liposuction is often performed is the buttocks. There is a tendency for both men and women (but especially women) to store excess levels of fat in their buttocks.
The last area that we are going to discuss today is the male breasts. There is a medical condition (which is called gynecomastia), that causes men to store fat in their breasts. The unfortunate outcome of this condition is that the men appear to actually have breasts. The only way to eliminate this condition is via liposuction.
As you can see, there are a number of body parts that have liposuction frequently performed on them. If you are interested in learning more about liposuction, please take a minute and visit the Dallas Liposuction Guide.
